The Hardwick Gazette has published a list of property transfers recorded in Hardwick between Feb. 7 and May 29, 2025. The 19 transactions include sales, gifts, and transfers between family members or trusts.
Notable sales include North Hardwick Farm LLC’s sale of 49.14 acres west of Town Highway 70 to the Vermont Land Trust for $136,000, and Roger Leblanc’s sale of 242 acres on Hardwick Street to Jonathan Leblanc for $650,000. Several transactions involved no monetary exchange, such as Lester Fuller Jr.’s transfer of 0.7 acres on Spring Street for $0, and Curtis and Kristine Lance’s gift of 0.15 acres on Pleasant Street to Kjersten Elliott for $0.
Other transactions include Janis Dewey to Dean Lafont for $49,367 (0.2 acres, 283 North Main), Merle Cote to Walker Wright for $250,000 (3.17 acres, 169 Porter Brook), and Darryl and Amy Appleby to Elise Grout for $365,000 (3 acres, 4112 Vt. Route 16). Several trust transfers were recorded, including Peter and Andra Holbrook to Holbrook Family Trust and Julie Holcomb-Gravel to Julie D. Holcomb-Gravel Revocable Trust.
