Gunshots in St. Johnsbury Determined to be Target Practice

At approximately 7:34 PM, Vermont State Police received multiple 911 calls reporting gunshots in St. Johnsbury. Callers described hearing two gunshots, a pause, and then a third shot. The source of the shots was believed to be near a residence in the area.

By 7:48 PM, officers had spoken with the property owner, who confirmed they were conducting target practice on their property. Police determined there was no threat to the public. No further action was needed, and units cleared the scene.
