The Greensboro Free Public Library has been awarded a grant to support a Northeast Kingdom women's history project, library police announced June 30. The library is one of eight Vermont institutions to receive funding through the program.

Details of the grant amount and specific project scope have not yet been released. The initiative aims to document and preserve women's contributions to the region's history.

NEK will be looking into the grant's funding source and the library's planned deliverables.
