GREENSBORO, The level of Caspian Lake measured 10.5 inches above the spillway on June 16, according to readings taken by John Schweizer of the Greensboro Association. That is 3.4 inches above the eight-year average of 7.1 inches for the date. Above-average readings have been recorded since May 15. For comparison, on June 15, 2025, the level was 4.5 inches; on June 15, 2024, it was 9.0 inches; and on June 15, 2023, it was 6.0 inches. With a rainy forecast, lake levels are expected to remain above average through mid-July.
