The 15th Annual Caspian Challenge will take place Sunday, July 26, at 8:30 a.m., starting at the Tolman Corner ballfield in Greensboro. Participants can choose between the classic 6.8-mile loop around Caspian Lake or a 5-kilometer out-and-back walk/run.

Prizes will be awarded to men and women in seven age brackets for both races. Registration is available online at greensboroassociation.org. The event is sponsored by the Greensboro Association, and all proceeds will support the Greensboro Community Meals program.

For more information, contact Eric Hanson at the email address provided on the association's website.

Last year's race drew 96 competitors ranging in age from 7 to over 70, with 93 finishing before heavier rain set in.
