At 6:36 PM, Newport Police and an ambulance were dispatched to a nursing home in Newport for a 28-year-old female who fell, sustaining a laceration to the face and pain in her left shoulder and knee. Initial reports indicate the fall occurred on the ground level of the facility. Further details are pending.
