At approximately 10:55 AM, Newport Police and Newport Ambulance were dispatched to a residence in Newport for a 95-year-old female who was found on the floor. According to first responders, the woman hit her head and was confused. Subsequent reports at around 11:16 AM indicated that the woman is unable to walk, and rescue personnel are assisting. At approximately 11:49 AM, dispatchers provided the address as 135 South Main Street, and emergency units were responding code 3. The extent of her injuries remains unknown. Responding units are on scene assessing the situation.
