Emergency Response on Whitefield Road in Bethlehem

At approximately 2:33 PM, emergency responders were dispatched to 1341 Whitefield Road in Bethlehem near Gilbert Block for a motor vehicle that went over a 20 to 30-foot embankment. Initial reports indicated no injuries, but later updates suggested a patient was in the care of Littleton Fire. Multiple agencies responded, including Bethlehem Fire, Bethlehem Ambulance, and Littleton Fire for mutual aid. At 2:35 PM, a request for Littleton Fire mutual aid was made. Units began arriving on scene, including Bethlehem Engine 2 at 2:36 PM and Littleton Utility 1 at 2:37 PM. At 2:41 PM, Bethlehem Ambulance 1 arrived at Littleton Regional Hospital, and Bethlehem Engine 1 also arrived at the hospital.

At 2:42 PM, Bethlehem Engine 1 was requested to respond to the scene. Littleton Ambulance 1 arrived on Whitefield Road at 2:46 PM. By 2:50 PM, personnel were out of the vehicle and were investigating for leaks. At 2:54 PM, Whitefield Road Command reported that a female patient would be transported directly to the hospital. At 2:56 PM, crews noted two posts down and damage to wire guardrails. At 2:57 PM, Bethel Engine 1 and an additional engine unit were released from the scene.

At 3:28 PM, Whitefield Road Command reported that the tow truck had removed the vehicle and both lanes of Whitefield Road were reopened to traffic. Crews cleared the scene shortly thereafter.
