At approximately 2:34 PM, emergency responders were dispatched to 1341 Whitefield Road in Bethlehem near Gilbert Block for a report of a car that went over a 20 to 30 foot embankment. Initial reports indicate the vehicle went off the roadway, but no injuries were reported. Bethlehem Fire, Bethlehem Ambulance, and Littleton Fire Department responded for mutual aid. The incident was classified as a 29 Delta, indicating a vehicle over an embankment.
At 2:37 PM, additional units including a police car were dispatched. By 2:42 PM, a unit arrived on scene. At 2:46 PM, Littleton Ambulance 1 arrived. At approximately 2:50 PM, responders reported that personnel were out of the vehicle, the scene was under control, and crews were investigating for fluid leaks. One unit was returning.
At approximately 2:52 PM, command requested a second ambulance for additional personnel. At 2:54 PM, units reported Car Woman and A1 were en route directly to the scene. At 2:57 PM, command advised that Columbia Field was two posts down with wire guard rails at the loss, and Zeppelin Joyne was standing down. At 3:02 PM, Twin State contacted Littleton Avenue 3 for further coordination.
At approximately 3:24 PM, a tow truck arrived and had the vehicle secured. By 3:28 PM, crews reported that the roadway was being cleared and the situation was under control. Whitefield Road Command continued to oversee the operation.
