Electrical Fire at Aspen Road in Franconia Isolated to Main Panel

At approximately 11:23 PM, the Franconia Fire Department was dispatched to a possible electrical fire at 37 Aspen Road in Franconia, New Hampshire. Initial reports indicated a fire in the basement of a single-family home. Upon arrival, crews reported a two-story wood-frame structure with nothing showing. Firefighters confirmed an electrical fire and requested mutual aid from Vermont. Ladder 48 responded.

At 11:35 PM, crews reported that the fire was isolated to the main panel. At 11:54 PM, command declared the fire under control and requested the power company to burn off the main disconnect. No injuries have been reported. The extent of damage is unknown.
