At 5:37 AM, St. Johnsbury Fire Department was dispatched to a reported brush fire at 249 Bay Street. Initial reports indicate a fire along the river behind the lumberyard and a homeless encampment. Fire crews are responding. The extent of the fire and any potential threats are not yet known.
