Electric Stove Issue Resolved at 86 Main Street in Lancaster

At approximately 1:18 PM, Lancaster Fire Department was dispatched to 86 Main Street in Lancaster for a report of a possible electric fire. The caller reported that a snow burner was getting hot and could not be turned off. Crews arrived on scene at 1:25 PM and investigated.

At 1:44 PM, Lancaster Fire reported that they had shut the stove down and turned off the breaker to the range. The occupant was advised to contact maintenance to have the stove inspected. By 1:47 PM, all units cleared the scene and returned to the station, resuming normal service at 1:50 PM. No damage or injuries were reported.
