Driver Reported Drowsy With Child in Car on Railroad Street

At approximately 2:57 PM, St. Johnsbury Police responded to a report of a driver who appeared to be drowsy or impaired on Railroad Street. The caller reported that the operator was dozing off and that a child was in the back seat of the vehicle.

Officers located a blue Volkswagen Tiguan matching the description and initiated a traffic stop. A records check of the New Hampshire registration returned a female owner from Woodsville, New Hampshire. Police are continuing their investigation.
