At 7:29 PM, Newport Ambulance was dispatched to 35 Crawford Road for a DRE blood draw related to a DUI investigation. Newport Police also responded to the scene. At 7:39 PM, police requested a sally port be opened for a DUI suspect. At 7:43 PM, a Newport Ambulance unit arrived at North Country Hospital in connection with the incident. At 7:56 PM, the unit cleared from the blood draw and was back in service. Further details are limited at this time.
