At approximately 10:22 AM, Newport Ambulance was dispatched to Walmart at 115 Seymour Drive in Derby for a 49-year-old female who was injured when a drawer fell on her lower leg, according to first responders. The patient was unable to bear weight on the leg. Emergency crews were en route to the scene at the jewelry counter location within the store.
