At approximately 8:18 PM, Vermont State Police and EMS were dispatched to a family fight in Brighton. According to initial reports, a brother who was released from jail the previous day allegedly punched a female family member in the face. The victim fled toward a church, and EMS staged at the scene. At 8:19 PM, EMS was staging and the suspect fled toward a church. Officers are working to locate the suspect, who is believed to be at a neighbor's house. Further details are pending.
