Detox Call for 40-Year-Old Female at Northern State Correctional Facility

At 5:11 PM, Newport Ambulance was dispatched to the correctional center at 2559 Glen Road in Newport City for a 40-year-old female detoxing and experiencing severe symptoms. The facility is Northern State Correctional Facility. At 5:13 PM, Newport Ambulance unit Newport 1 was responding, and additional units including P4-1 were en route by 5:14 PM. At 5:22 PM, Newport 1 arrived on scene. At 5:31 PM, unit 2-4-1 began transport of a patient. At 5:42 PM, 2-4-1 arrived at North Country Hospital. At 5:50 PM, Newport 1 cleared back into service.
