At approximately 1:02 AM, Newport Ambulance was dispatched to the Northern State Correctional Facility in Newport for a middle-aged woman experiencing withdrawal symptoms. Units arrived on scene around 1:15 AM. At approximately 1:37 AM, a transport unit arrived at North Country Hospital with the patient. Further details are limited at this time.
