Vermont State Police have cited a Craftsbury man after a hit-and-run crash on Church Lane in Craftsbury on July 11.

An investigation began around 10:52 a.m. after a report that a vehicle backed into a parked, unoccupied Honda CRV near 7 Church Lane and left the scene. The owner of the parked car, John Miller, 77, of Irasburg, reported moderate front-end damage to his 2024 Honda.

Troopers identified the operator of the fleeing vehicle as Justice Jameson, 33, of Craftsbury, and located him shortly afterward. Jameson was driving a 2005 Dodge Ram with minor rear-end damage.

Jameson was issued a citation to appear in Orleans County Criminal Division court on September 8 on a charge of leaving the scene of a crash, in violation of 23 V.S.A. § 1128.

NEK will be looking into court records to track the case's disposition.
