A wide range of community events are planned across the Hardwick area from July 1 through July 15, including library programs, concerts, educational talks, and social gatherings.
Highlights include a dog training session at Jaquith Public Library on July 1 at 6:30 p.m., dinosaur stories and salads at Greensboro Free Library on July 2 at 10 a.m., and a summer concert featuring the Ernest James Zydeco Band at Jaquith Public Library on July 2 at 6:30 p.m. A book sale will be held on the front lawn of the Willey Building in Cabot on July 4 from 9 a.m. to noon, organized by the Friends of Cabot Library.
Later in the month, an invasive species panel with Will Marlier of the Greensboro Conservation Committee will take place on July 8 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Greensboro United Church of Christ Fellowship Hall. A presentation on whales by the Blue Ocean Society is set for July 8 at 6 p.m. at Craftsbury Public Library. On July 10, a benefit dinner for Child Haven International will be held at the Highland Center for the Arts in Greensboro from 5 to 8 p.m.
