A children's music program featuring Katy Tessman will take place Wednesday, June 24, at 10:15 a.m. in Athenaeum Hall at the St. Johnsbury Athenaeum. The event is free, accessible, and open to the public.
Tessman is a mother, singer-songwriter, author, and breast cancer survivor. She uses music and storytelling to encourage strength, courage, and optimism. She also wrote the children's book "Our Mama is a Beautiful Garden," which recounts her family's experience with breast cancer. Minnesota Women's Press named her a Changemaker.
