At approximately 2:25 PM, Newport Ambulance was dispatched to 103 Fernwood Circle in Newport for a 19-year-old female experiencing chest pain. According to initial reports, the patient has no cardiac history and was alert. Units arrived on scene at 2:29 PM. At approximately 2:42 PM, Newport 1 transported the patient to North Country Hospital. Further details are pending.
