Brush Fire on Blaney Road in Bethlehem

At 3:52 PM, Bethlehem Fire Department and other mutual aid crews were dispatched to a brush fire at 632 Blaney Road. The fire was reported along the road near the driveway, with approximately 6-10 feet of burning vegetation threatening the woods. Crews were able to partially extinguish the fire.

At 4:01 PM, a fire officer reported a 20 by 40 foot area burning. At 4:14 PM, Bethlehem Fire requested additional manpower and a tanker to assist at the scene. At 4:23 PM, Littleton Fire was requested for mutual aid with a tanker. At 4:33 PM, Littleton Tanker 1 arrived on scene. Further details are pending.
