Brighton State Park naturalist brings wildlife education to the Northeast Kingdom

Laura Lee Gray, a naturalist and interpreter at the Nature Center at Brighton State Park, spends her summers educating visitors about local wildlife. Along with her work at the park, Gray occasionally visits other state parks to display animal pelts, skulls, and antlers, offering hands-on learning opportunities.

The Nature Center at Brighton State Park is the only facility of its kind in the Northeast Kingdom, according to a recent feature in the Newport Daily Express.
