Vermont State Police are asking for the public's help locating a missing 78-year-old Bradford man who walked into the woods behind his home Saturday afternoon.

Donald Dacey left his residence at 689 South Road around 1:45 p.m. on July 11 and had not returned as of the time troopers were called at 3:15 p.m., according to a police news release.

Dacey is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, about 180 pounds, with short white hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing an olive green polo shirt, khaki shorts and sandals. He is nonverbal, which has heightened concern for his well-being.

Anyone with information on Dacey's location is asked to contact the Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury Barracks at 802-748-3111.
