The Black Fly Festival parade wound through Adamant on Saturday, drawing a crowd of residents and visitors who came to mark the start of black fly season with music, food, a humorous parade and a pie contest.
Now in its annual iteration, the event offers a lighthearted take on the region's notorious insect population, with participants and spectators gathering on the village green.
