Bernard "Bernie" Raymond Grimard, 74, of Lyndeborough, New Hampshire, died June 13 at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua surrounded by family. He was born Jan. 4, 1952, in Whitefield, New Hampshire, to the late Raymond Bernard Grimard and Barbara June Grimard. He was the husband of Susan Mae Jones, with whom he had been together for 25 years.
Grimard worked as a carpenter throughout his life, rebuilding and renovating properties across New England. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing and hunting and maintained a large collection of trophies.
He is survived by his wife Susan Jones; brother Raymond B. Grimard; sister Charlotte Carrier and her husband Nelson Carrieris; son Christopher B. Grimard; daughter Erika M. (Grimard) Boudreau Woods and her husband Henry J. Woods Jr.; grandson Johnathan W. O'Rourke and his wife Rachael B. O'Rourke; granddaughters Sarah Chasseur and her husband Jonathan Chasseur, and Jillian Neider; as well as great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on July 17 at Reed's Graveyard, 190 Naticook Road, Merrimack, New Hampshire. Assisting with arrangements is the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, Manchester.
