Shaheen touts housing bill, rec center funding in North Country

U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) made a North Country visit last week, promoting recently passed federal housing legislation and announcing over $2 million in federal funding for the North Country Community Recreation Center in Colebrook.

Shaheen visited the Fox Hill Cooperative in Franconia, a resident-owned manufactured housing community, to mark the passage of the housing bill, which aims to expand supply and reduce costs. She also highlighted the funding she helped secure for the recreation center.
