A two-week-old baby loon was observed on Caspian Lake on June 29, according to a local photographer. The chick was seen flapping its wings as an adult loon, presumably a parent, brought a fish to feed it.

The sighting on the lake in Greensboro shows the young bird being taught typical loon behaviors by its parents.
