At approximately 9:38 AM, emergency crews were dispatched to 281 Cumberland Street in Groton for a report of a 15-year-old female who was the victim of an assault. The caller reported that objects were being thrown. Fire department was initially placed on standby, and NORPAC Ambulance was called to the scene. At 9:57 AM, NORPAC Ambulance cleared the scene and returned to the station. Further details are pending.
