At 5:18 PM, Newport Ambulance was dispatched to 33 Maple Lane, the assisted living building, for a female experiencing right side abdominal pain. According to dispatch, the patient was reported to be in the dining room. Multiple units responded, arriving on scene by 5:26 PM. Further details about the patient's condition and transport have not yet been released.
