91-Year-Old Falls at Derby Line Manor, Head Injury Suspected

Newport Ambulance was dispatched to 47 Herrick Road in Derby Line at 10:23 PM for a 91-year-old female who fell and may have sustained a head injury. According to first responders, the woman is on blood thinners. Unit Newport 7 arrived on scene at 10:35 PM and met at the front lobby. At approximately 11:05 PM, Newport 7 began transporting the patient to North Country Hospital. At 11:47 PM, Newport Ambulance reported clearing North Country Hospital and returning to service.
