At approximately 6:35 PM, Orleans Ambulance and Newport Police were dispatched to a nursing home at 16 Maple Lane in Barton for a 78-year-old female who fell and sustained a laceration to her face. The woman was also complaining of left shoulder and knee pain. Units arrived on scene at 6:41 PM and are assessing the situation.
