At approximately 12:49 PM, Newport Ambulance and Newport Police were dispatched to 63 3rd Street in Newport for a fall. According to dispatch, a 75-year-old male fell, sustaining a bump on his head and a scrape on his arm, and complained of chest pain. At approximately 12:55 PM, a police unit arrived on scene. The patient was evaluated and transported to a medical facility. Further details are pending.
