At approximately 7:13 AM, Vermont State Police issued a lookout for a wrong-way driver on U.S. Route 2. According to initial reports, a black Honda SUV was observed traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes between St. Johnsbury and Danville, heading toward Danville. Police are actively searching for the vehicle.

At around 8:25 AM, state police dispatched a unit to a crash with debris on U.S. Route 2 in Danville, near Jameson Road. It is unclear whether the crash is related to the earlier wrong-way incident. No information on injuries or vehicle descriptions is available at this time.
