A group of volunteers in Glover gathered recently to clean gravestones at a local cemetery as part of a community workbee. The effort, which included cleaning a headstone, aimed to preserve the historic burial ground for future generations.
The workbee was organized by local residents, with volunteers donating their time and labor to restore and maintain the cemetery. Such volunteer efforts are common in Northeast Kingdom towns, where community members often step in to care for historic sites.
