St. Johnsbury edges Barre in 10U District 4 opener

St. Johnsbury outlasted Barre 12-11 and Lake Region defeated Mad River 5-4 on the opening day of the 2026 Little League 10U District 4 baseball tournament. The games were played Saturday at Leonard Field in St. Johnsbury.

With the wins, St. Johnsbury and Lake Region advanced in the double-elimination tournament. The losing teams will play elimination games as the tournament continues.
