This is a developing story. Details are preliminary and subject to change as more information becomes available.
At approximately 9:49 PM, emergency responders were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision on I-93 northbound at mile marker 118.4 in Sugar Hill. Initial reports indicate that a vehicle struck a deer, resulting in airbag deployment but no injuries. Sugar Hill Fire Department, Sugar Hill EMS, and Littleton Fire Department responded to the scene.
By 10:00 PM, Sugar Hill Engine 1 arrived on scene and found a single vehicle off the side of the road with fire and damage. Crews are assessing the vehicle for fire extension and damage. At 10:11 PM, I-93 command was established to coordinate the response. Tow trucks have been called to the location.
At 11:01 PM, Sugar Hill Engine 1 was reported returning to quarters, and by 11:12 PM all Sugar Hill units were back in quarters and in service. The scene was cleared.
