Vehicle smoldering at 611 Wild Ammonoosuc Road

At approximately 8:16 p.m., Twin State Fire Department was dispatched to 611 Wild Ammonoosuc Road for a reported vehicle that had overheated and begun smoldering. According to dispatch, a potential buyer was revving the engine when the vehicle started smoking. The caller initially said it did not catch fire, later stating it had, but by the time of the call it was only smoldering. Occupants had been attempting to extinguish it for about 20 minutes. The vehicle is located approximately 10 feet from a garage. Fire crews are en route.

At 8:22 p.m., first responders arrived on scene and reported light smoke emanating from the vehicle. Shortly thereafter, at 8:23 p.m., crews confirmed that the fire had spread to the engine compartment and that there was exposure to the adjacent garage. Additional fire units were requested to assist. Further details remain limited as crews work to extinguish the fire.

At approximately 8:44 p.m., firefighters on scene were actively working to locate the source of the smoke. Unit K-1 was in communication with dispatch, reporting that they were at P.A.R. investigating the origin. Multiple personnel were involved, including those identified by radio as Sam, Henry, Ocean, Robert, and Nora. The situation remains ongoing.

At approximately 9:07 p.m., crews reported that the vehicle fire had been extinguished and command was terminated.
