Vehicle rollover with fire on Route 112 in Woodstock

At approximately 9:10 PM, Woodstock Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle rollover on Route 112 near Beaver Pond. Initial reports indicated the vehicle had gone over a guardrail. Minutes later, dispatch reported the vehicle was on fire with entrapment. Woodstock Engine 2 responded, and at approximately 9:14 PM, an update stated that the occupant was out of the vehicle. At 9:17 PM, Woodstock 86 reported the area was cleaned and units were shutting down Route 112. At 9:24 PM, another unit (Service 30) was advised to respond to the fire. By 9:30 PM, Woodstock Engine 3 and Engine 4 arrived on scene and switched to fire ground 4. Firefighting operations are ongoing. At 9:33 PM, dispatch directed units to proceed to Case 6. At 9:36 PM, a Twin State unit, Woodstock K-6, requested location information. At 9:47 PM, Woodstock Command contacted the Department of Conservation. Shortly after, the Department of Transportation inquired about the length of damaged guardrail. Forest Service 30 reported the vehicle was secured off the roadway. By 10:01 PM, a unit on scene indicated they were clear from the incident. At 10:26 PM, Woodstock Command announced the one-hour mark of the response and indicated no further units were needed. At approximately 10:38 PM, dispatch confirmed that Route 112 had been reopened and the vehicle was cleared from the roadway. Units began to clear the scene.
