At approximately 2:45 PM, Vermont State Police were dispatched to 2683 Derby Line in Derby for a trespassing violation. According to initial reports, an individual was on the premises despite a filed trespassing order. Troopers made contact with the individual, who then fled into the woods and had not returned as of 3:02 PM. The individual also has two active arrest warrants. During the ongoing response, dispatchers confirmed that the suspect is subject to a curfew requiring him to remain at his home between 2:00 PM and 1:00 AM, and that conditions were specific to the individual. Police continue to search the area. The investigation is ongoing.
