Tree Down Blocks Road, Knocks Out Wires in Sugar Hill

At approximately 11:46 AM, emergency crews were dispatched to a report of a tree blocking the road with wires down on Pond Road in Sugar Hill. The caller reported hearing a tree branch hit wires, and initial reports indicated no wires down, but later updates confirmed the tree was blocking the road completely and had taken out wires. The New Hampshire Electric Co-op was notified and estimated an arrival time of 30 minutes. Crews on scene attempted to move the tree. Further details are pending.
