The Vermont Baseball Coaches Association has announced the roster for the 2026 Twin State Baseball Classic, featuring 18 top senior players from across Vermont, including three from the Northeast Kingdom. The annual doubleheader against New Hampshire is scheduled for Saturday, June 27, at the Maxfield Complex in White River Junction, with first pitch at 4 p.m. Admission is free.
The NEK players selected are Logan Wheeler of Lyndon, Carson Finn of St. Johnsbury, and Ben West of North Country. They will be joined by St. Johnsbury coach Chris Kendall on the Vermont coaching staff, which also includes Logan Cooke of Montpelier, Geoff Green of Union-32, and Mike Howe of Otter Valley.
The Vermont roster draws from 12 high schools across three of the state’s four divisions. The New Hampshire roster has not yet been released. The classic, originally held from 1983 to 2004, resumed in 2015. Last year Vermont swept New Hampshire, including a 10-inning, 10-8 nightcap thriller at Forbes Field in Middlebury. Vermont has swept three times in the ten classics since the return, with 11 games decided by one run or in the final at-bat.
