Suspicious Activity at Stony Brook Motel

At approximately 4:42 PM, emergency dispatchers received a report of suspicious activity at the Stony Brook Motel. An anonymous caller stated that an individual, believed to be intoxicated, was asking around for drugs. The individual was reportedly staying in room 22. Police responded to the scene and were advised to speak with the front desk for further information. At approximately 4:49 PM, an officer reported that they had spoken with the front desk and were proceeding to room 22 to make contact with the individual. The investigation is ongoing. No injuries have been reported.
