At approximately 11:45 PM, emergency crews were dispatched to the Grafton County Department of Corrections at 3787 Dartmouth College Highway for a sprinkler system activation. April Fire, Daywell Fire, and Haverhill Fire departments have been called to the scene. Police report that assistance is needed to reset the system. The activation occurred in the third zone of the sprinkler system, and mutual aid was requested from neighboring departments including Crafts and Whitefield. The cause of the activation is not yet known. No injuries have been reported. Emergency responders remain on site.
