Smoke reported at Main Street library

This is a developing story. Details are preliminary and subject to change as more information becomes available.

At approximately 11:09 a.m., fire departments were dispatched to the area of 2014 Main Street in Whitefield for reports of smoke coming from an outside building, believed to be a library. Initial reports indicated smoke from the exterior of the structure. By 11:18 a.m., units on scene confirmed smoke showing from the building. A flash-over command was established as crews worked to control the scene. The extent of the fire and any injuries are not yet known.
