Barnet Fire Department, with assistance from St. Johnsbury Fire, responded to a smoke detector activation at 204 Deer Creek Lane in Barnet at approximately 12:44 PM on July 17, 2026. Crews arrived on scene and found no visible smoke or fire. The resident was unable to reset the alarm. Fire personnel are working to clear the incident.
