Campfire Draws Response on Cliff Street in St. Johnsbury

At 6:09 PM, St. Johnsbury Fire Department was dispatched to 18 Spring Street for a smoke investigation. Engine 1 responded and began investigating. Dispatch reported visible fog in the area before identifying the source. By 6:15 PM, units determined the smoke was from a campfire. The fire was located at 102 Cliff Street. Engine 1 cleared the scene at 6:19 PM, returning to quarters. No injuries were reported.
