At approximately 4:07 PM on May 29, 2026, emergency crews were dispatched to 1248 Hospital Drive in Newport for a report of a 19-year-old female actively seizing in the housekeeping area. St. Johnsbury Ambulance responded to the scene. The patient has a history of seizures and was reportedly seizing upon arrival. Crews were en route to North Country Hospital for further evaluation. Further details are pending.
