At approximately 3:48 a.m., authorities were dispatched to 58 Jefferson Avenue in Lancaster for a report of a pregnant female in pain. According to initial reports, the situation escalated when a male party on the scene became irate, prompting law enforcement to request that emergency medical services stage in a safe location until police can secure the area. The condition of the female is unknown at this time, and further details are expected as the incident develops.
By about 4 a.m., state police advised that the male party had left the scene and the area was secure. Responders were then able to approach. At approximately 4:01 a.m., authorities on scene reported that the female was no longer complaining of pain and did not require immediate transport. The incident remains under investigation.
